In search of awkwardness

I came across a post in Laughing Squid with this video on Anthony Howe’s kinetic sculptures.  I am so taken by his creations that I felt compelled to embed the video here.  It’s so wonderful to see amazing imagination like this in the atomic world.  His works feel very inworld to me.  Not ironically, Howe’s creative tool is the computer. Can’t help but wonder if he is or was a resident.  Probably not but it’s fun to feel a sense of connection in his art between the two grids.  Check it out and listen to his design process:
