This week’s image for the Single Frame Story prompt “switch” came about through an interesting process from conception through production. It’s that space between envisioning and executing that can be sooooo tricky! But instead of sharing the gory details in a “Behind the Scenes of an SFS Switch Image” post, I’m going to heed very, very wonderful friend Dale’s suggestion. He suggested posting the image as is, without preamble, and entitling it “Switch.”
So here is my entry for this week’s SFS story prompt. It is entitled “Switch.” In the spirit of SFS, make of it what you will ;). Check out all the entries posted on the SFS flickr stream here and join the fun!
Lovely image
tee hee! That is a long preamble to explain the lack of preamble!
laughs hard!!!! true that!! :))
This image is so impressive! The unconscious often seems to know exactly what it’s doing, even if at the conscious level we’re not quite sure. 🙂 With the artist’s kind permission I’ve hung a copy in my new gallery (see http://daleinnis.wordpress.com/2011/02/16/the-gallery-has-moved/ ).
You are so very wonderfully supportive and encouraging! and so very wonderfully talented! /me encourages you to create and submit *more* of your always impressive art to the Single Frame Story prompts! I will gently and repeatedly remind you :). And my goodness, thank you sooooo much for your wonderful invitation to hang “Switch” in your gallery! I love your gallery. It’s so awesome. Everyone should visit and not because “Switch” is there). You have such a grand variety of wonderful works there. Now…let’s see much much more of yours!! 🙂
