Warriors in Pink

Be a Warrior.  Be a Warrior-Vixen in the fight against breast cancer.

I so love how the inworld community takes up the cause each year with Relay For Life and the Fantasy Faire and all the other inworld campaigns that provide an opportunity for everyone to be a warrior in this fight.   But we don’t have to wait until March to get involved.  We can jump headlong into the atomic world now and get involved during the October National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Specifically, “Warriors in Pink” sponsored by Ford.  Have you seen their PSA with Jennifer Aniston where she pitches her self-designed “Reach for the Moon” t-shirt (100% of net proceeds goes to the fight to eradicate breast cancer).  I can’t tell you why, but it moves me to tears.  And you best believe, I got that shirt (in grey, yet, which I love!) and can’t wait to wear it.  Because for me, being a Warrior in this fight whether inworld or in the atomic world isn’t the issue.  It’s not an either-or thing.  Or an “Official” or “Unofficial” thing.  Or a “This” time not “That” time thing.  The fact of the matter is it doesn’t matter how we participate.  The only central focus is that we do.  Because the fight against breast cancer is profoundly personal:  1 in 3 women are impacted by this; moreover, it is no longer an “older woman’s” issue…if all of that doesn’t scare the shit out of everyone, I don’t know what will.  But I just adore how everyone goes to strength and positivity.  Be a Warrior.  Be a Warrior-Vixen.  Get your Strength Hotness on as a Warrior in Pink, as *all* the Warriors who are waging this vitally important fight to eradicate all cancers not only for the future but for the here-and-now.
