A recent NPIRL post used very little in the way of words to describe “Rising in Light” by Truthseeker Young, Deebrane String, and Miso Susanowa.
Once you go there to check it out, you’ll appreciate why. It’s mesmerizing. It’s amazing. It’s engaging. And the station is fully aware, floating in the heavens above the planets.
The scale and complexity of this futuristic being are [...]

Tonight, I returned to Sometimes They Rise, AM Radio’s latest build where I learned that the build is meant to change on a frequent basis. This time when I arrived wheatfields whiskered the ground around the trees. Snow sparkled its way gently down the skies, blanketing the horizon in gray-white ripples, and a HUD cast a wonderful [...]

AM Radio’s latest build — Sometimes They Rise – reveals itself with trademark quietness, compelling visitors to not only enter but to also create a visual story.
A Time Traveller rises in the Forest of “Sometimes They Rise”
The build is simple and lovely. It harkons to the nearness of autumn, one of my favorite seasons (along with spring). And yet, the [...]

Or the Kitsune, the furries, the tinies.
Just recently, when I saw a Neko walk by in a shop, I was surprised (almost shocked) to see one, and then I realized that my surprise stems from the fact that I haven’t seen a neko or much of any of the hybrids or the other cultures in SL in a [...]

Last night, I checked out the Showcase tab and in the list of Hot Spot locations, randomly clicked on AeroBreeze. I am so glad I did. From what I saw, AeroBreeze is a little gem of a build, reminiscent in many ways of Chouchou’s grounds.
The seasons co-exist beautifully on the beaches in AeroBreeze. In the photo above, snow falls [...]

Shenlei is CEO of the RL [...]

Like probably everyone, a couple of days ago, I heard news that Rezzable is leaving SL. Unlike probably everyone, I had not yet made my way beyond Crimson Shadow to two other popular Rezzable builds: The Carnival of Doom and the Greenies.
While I have heard of Rezzable a great deal in SL, I was never entirely clear what Rezzable was. [...]

What’s a Fourth of July celebration without the attention grabber of a Neko Robot, I ask you. Well, there was a spectacular one at one of the friendliest, most easy going clubs inworld.
The music was great, the conversation easy-going and good natured, and I was transfixed, stuck on the look of this incredible AV…not only on the [...]

I have no special talents…I’m only passionately curious.
~ Albert Einstein
The effects of which can be…interesting.
Last weekend, SL went through some major bends of sorts brought about by a severe line of FL storms that caused a major power outage in Colorado (least, that’s what I had heard). And every resident went with the flow as things inworld [...]

Such a perfect name for this sim. There’s so much beauty to feast your eyes upon. It simply bursts into life with flowers and gardens. I felt the breeze flowing across my face and the grass surrounding my feet. I stumbled upon Forest Feast in SL’s Showcase tab and am so very glad for it. It was so [...]
